A Societal Mistake

Question:
Society, while often cruel and negative, often honestly wants the 'best' for its citizens. My question is, how far should you go in shaking the shackles of society?

Your idea of what's 'best' for you might be completely different from mine. Such is the beauty of a democracy. The majority rules.

As for shaking it up...I say as far as the law lets you. Unless we are talking about a novel then there are no limits.

That's a good question, and I'm not sure I have an answer. I think every person has to decide for themselves, but I think respect for others should always be considered . . . hurting others to get what you want is never cool, but thinking American Revolution, there is a point you have to stand up for yourself. It's a hard call, and I don't think there's a nicely wrapped answer for this one.
