Time Time Time Time Time

I have none!
And yet, from what I read, neither do any of you. Very few of us get to write as much as we'd like or have the time we need. Yet we're all writers and love what we do. And so many of you find time to read - so this is my question: where?

Recently, I've been getting up early to write, but the fact of the matter is, I do my best writing at night. Nights are bad for me because I have friends that occasionally like to see my face. So I'm a little out of ideas.

When do you find time to write? When do you make it?

XOXO

This is so hard for me, especially with a five year old, a three month old and homeschooling. I write my best during the day, so I try to do it when the baby is napping and the five year old is parked in front of the tv. I know, bad parenting, but what am I supposed to do? I'm not a good writer at night, otherwise I'd write instead of read in bed for an hour.

Ooh, I love the photo! I write when the kids are all in bed or at school. During summer when they are all home, I have them spend quality self time for an hour and write then and when they go to bed that night. Not easy, but I've managed to write many completed novels that way!

Best wishes...

At the moment I write in the car on the way to and from work and at lunch times and if I'm super sneaky I whisk e-mails to myself through out the day .. not ideal but it needs to be done!

Give up sleep.

I also write on my lunch hour, and now have learned to tune out kids while writing at kitchen table after dinner. But really most of my writing gets done on the weekend.

I read pretty fast so if I have a book I must read (which happens quite a bit lately) then at least for that night, writing is on hold.

I get up everyday at 5 am. Unfortunately, most days that's to blog (or catch up on the comments from the night before).

I'm lucky I'm a stay-at-home mom, and all my kids are at school full time. :D

But I still wish I had more time.

I tend to do my writing at night, too. I like the quiet, but I also end up spending any afternoon time I have free doing blog related/twitter stuff ;)
